The terminal service in a three-service pipeline that automates selective solder program selection. It receives resolved board data, gates machine entry on the returned program and revision, and enables per-revision program targeting, work that previously required an operator to select the correct program by hand.

Failures publish structured error events to a dedicated exchange, so an operator sees the specific reason a board was rejected and can resolve it without escalating to engineering. On a board-eligibility failure the driver withholds the SMEMA handshake and holds the machine in a safe wait state rather than failing open and letting an unverified board through.

Running continuously in production since launch.
